Icon meme
Comment to this post, and I will pick six of your icons. It is then your task to make your own post describing your icons (why you picked them, what sort of posts you tend to use them for, etc) and tag other people!
Ahaha, this is from the webcomic Girly. I... I really can't summarize how ridiculously funny this page is without simply linking it. I use this icon for "congratulatory" comments, or when I feel silly.
A scene out of the live action Sailor Moon. For those who haven't seen it, Nephrite loses his powers and ends up working for Motoki in a karaoke place (which replaced the arcade in the manga/anime). I wish I could say the dialogue is real, but it is ridiculously fitting. They really are like the Bert and Ernie of PGSM. I didn't make this one, but credits are in the keywords. This icon is so ridiculous, I can only bring myself to use it when I feel equally ridiculous.
bri_chan posted scans from a book of sketches by a big Disney artist, and they included the famous "Ariel hair flipping" scene as it was meant to be, with the nudity not tastefully hidden by water. Even though I have issues with the movie, you gotta love that scene. I don't think I use this one enough.
I am a silly Mamoru/Shitennou fangirl. It took me many tries to fit them all into one icon. I like that they're all monochromatic and stuff. I use this for fandom-type posts and comments.
Sage says she never understood what this one was about, and I imagine nobody else who ever sees it does either. This was a self-portrait by Alan Doyle of the band Great Big Sea (see, it's a little dude with long hair and a guitar). He often signs his name with the same smilie face. He's even got the same stick figure sketched into one of his guitars. Fans call it the Alanman smilie. I just like that it looks so ridiculously happy.
Sage says "please explain why this man is so hot." I have no answer. Shirota Yuu's hotness defies logic. Yuu is a half-Spanish Japanese actor who got his start in the Sailor Moon musicals, moving on through Prince of Tennis (musicals and movie), and now is quite a respectable actor on stage, tv, and film. This icon is from a drama called Rookies, in which the normally sweet and funny Yuu plays a scary violent delinquent (this scene is right after he put a guy's head through a glass window and beat a teacher unconscious). I don't use this icon often because it's so bitchy; I just like having it around.

But you didn't taaaaaag anyone! That Girly icon cracks me up, though.
